What an absolute pleasure it was to photograph the Kriek family again, this time I got to meet the precious new bundle Anmih!
I got to spend a lovely Autumn afternoon with them at their home in Wellington. It was great to photograph the craziness that is a family of 5 – having 3 kids myself, I luckily am not at a stranger to that special kind of madness that fills a house.

So a while back I had a competition on instagram and the lucky couple was Kim & Mark who decided to go for the maternity shoot. Their baby will be here any day now and these two just beamed all the time! Kim looked beautiful and glowing. It was lots of fun to practice with my film cameras again – I used my pentax 645n and nikonf100. I used the internal light meter on the nikon and I must say next time will rather use the light meter as I did with the pentax. The colours and exposure is just so yummy!
