Badenhorst Family Wines had their first Open Day this past weekend – Cornelia (de liefde) did the styling of the beautiful farm-restaurant-for-the-day.
The old house was converted into a shop for the day, filled with goodies: meat, designer clothes, olive oil, soaps, antiques, lovely things, free-range eggs, chickens, macaroons, wine….
enjoy your visit :

The talented Elsje also had a table full of gifts to buy (www.meanttobe.co.za)

Cara made these beautiful and delish macaroons (www.carabrink.blogspot.com)

the food prep

cheers!
taking a break after all the hard work in the kitchen

and yes, the day has been looong enough – time to kick back with a bottle of milk

one last picture – at the end of the afternoon, after all the plates have been cleared and the guests have left, this vase was just beautiful standing alone in the late afternoon light
