Hello, my name is Maree and I am a photographer based in Riebeek Kasteel in the Western Cape.
I am finally living my dream and that is to take pictures. I know everyone says it, but I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love, every day.

I love photographing Weddings, kiddies, families and anything else that is beautifull
When it comes to weddings, my style is very much unobtrusive – I like to be behind-the-scenes and capture all the emotions and little details.
Your wedding day is Yours and I try to capture each couple’s uniqueness and to tell the story of your wedding day through the photos I take. Because your wedding should be all about YOU!
I see my style as ‘illustrative’ – that means placing a couple of whoever I am photographing in settings of interesting composition and backgrounds. I always think in terms of light and try to use natural light where possible (90% of the time). I provide a certain measure of direction, but then I want the couple to relax and interact with each other in order to get the magic shots! And it is these spontaneous moments that I capture and love!
I believe photos are not just pieces of colorful paper or bits on a screen, but moments captured in time – to be remembered and re-lived for ever…
